Analytic philosophy

Analytic philosophy is a broad school or style of contemporary Western philosophy, especially anglophone philosophy. It is focused on: analysis as a philosophical method, clarity of prose, and rigor in arguments; making use of formal logic, mathematics, and to a lesser degree the natural sciences. It is further characterized by the linguistic turn, or a concern with language and meaning.
